Brief Description:  Right Tank Flop Tube & Rear Baffle

I wasted a few hours this morning to trying to local source a wire connector that I screwed up yesterday. Gave up and ordered some from Stein along with some more tools. I shot and bucked the rivets for the tank attach rivets in the end rib (had to shape it a little more on Friday night to get it to fit after the rib was riveted). I installed the flop tube and torqued it to specs before coating everything in proseal. I marked the Z brackets with their correct orientation and also drew a picture of each on the tank skin to make sure I didn't rivet them incorrectly. A syringe filled with sealant allowed me to run the 3/16" bead of sealant just forward of the rivet holes on the tank skin and then I pushed the rear baffle into place and clecoed every hole. I pulled the rivets in the fore and aft rib holes and only had an issue with one. The modified rivet puller worked like a charm on the Z brackets. I shot and bucked the AN4704-4 and 4-5 rivets on the inboard and outboard rib/baffle attachments and squeezed the skin/baffle rivets. I will form the fillet and encapsulate the rivet heads tomorrow when I seal the access plate in place. I am kind of glad that I screwed up the wire connector in the left tank because I want a break before I seal it up. These tanks are a lot of tedious work!
