Brief Description:  Make NEW Cross Over Fuel Line

While I started to reassemble the left side console, consisting of the fuel valve, spacers, fuel valve handle, etc., I spotted a gouge in the cross over fuel line, about 1" long just under the AN fitting to the fuel valve. Not sure how I did this, but the line had to be replaced.

Removed the fuel line to use as a template to make a new line by disconnecting from the fuel valve, removing the (4) WDG clamps, and then pushing the rubber grommet in the right-side fuse outboard, then pulling the line out from the outside of the fuse. I am not at all sure how this could be done with wings attached.

Measured the lengths between bends of the existing line, and replicated on the new line, adjusting the bend angle as needed.

I inserted the line into the fuse to check for alignment, which meant I need to reinstall the fuel valve which I removed to remove the fuel line. Once the fuel valve was positioned and secured, measured and marked the amount of line I needed to remove to meet the fuel valve connection.

Cut the fuel line as marked, cleaned the cut, installed the AN hardware, then flared the ending.
