Started reinstalling some of the avionics into the panel which I removed earlier to fabricate the windscreen fairing. Started from outboard, working my way inboard trying to be as methodical as possible so I don't have to remove something I just put in to get something else in place, or just make it more difficult to reinstall the remaining instruments.
I took the opportunity to address an issue with the audio panel, the tray was just a bit forward which meant it was not flush with the panel. Barely noticeable, but I noticed. The amount was probably 1/16". After the tray adjustment, it seems to fit perfectly.
On the right side of the panel I re-installed the ignition switch, the 3 CB's above, the ELT switch, then proceeded to the Compass and D6.
