Brief Description:  Instrument Panel - New Radio Brackets, Compass, Le

Proceeding with testing fitting all of the instruments for the panel.

Final drilled 5/32" the mounting holes for the compass deburred and test installed the panel mount compass which resides directly above the Dynon D6.

The Legend Lights are located in 16mm holes cut by CNC. Each Legend Light has a small pin on the back side for the purpose of preventing the light from rotation once installed. Locate the pin distance from the edge of the 16mm hole, attempted to locate this for all three lights.

After some effort to ensure this was going to work out, I decided against drilling a hole in the panel for this pin, instead I used side snips to remove the pins.

Installed the Legend Lights with the accompanying lock downs on the reverse side. I don't think these lights are going to rotate at all.

Got the new radio stack brackets from Jeremy, deburred the edges and final drilled the holes for the radio tray and Airgizmo dock.

Located the edge distance from the #40 holes for mounting to the back side of the instrument panel, the tab width including the radius of the bend is 3/8". I need to make sure the #40 holes are close in to the bend as possible to account for the radio tray width, last time I centered the holes in the 3/8" tab.

Marked the ends of the tab, and then put down painters tape for visibility. Using the EAA hanger bending brake bent the edges into tabs... Then bent the remaining two edges. Used the shear to cut off the unwanted material from each flange/tab.

These look really good, much more likely to work as needed than my first attempt.
