I decided to see what I can do to make the first set of CNC produced brackets work. The problem is not with the CNC cutting, but with how I made the bends to the attach tabs for the instrument panel.
I need a bit more space between the brackets due to the radio tray. I decided to drill the #40 holes to #30 for the attach tabs on each bracket, this gave enough play in the attach points to allow for the radio and Airgizmo dock to slide between the brackets.
All a learning process... I can either upsize the panel holes to #30, but I think this will eliminate all of the play (which of course is the point), but then not have the needed effect for the bracket spacing.
I decide to have Jeremy make two more brackets which I will bend a bit differently to account for the radio tray.
