Sanded the contact point of the bottom rudder fairing so the Sun Tail light adapter sits flush on the fairing. Riveted the adapter to the end of the fairing. The Sun Tail light connects directly to the adapter.
Because I wanted the ability to remove the rudder without cutting the wire, created a pass-through in the vertical stab using one of the 'optional' lightening holes specified in the vertical stab drawing. The hole is just large enough for a Molex connector to pass through if I need to remove the rudder.
Also important was to route the wire over the rear HS spar so it cannot interfere with the elevator horn or control tube.
