Brief Description: IBBS Installation and GDL 39R Locating
My how time flies... Got re-directed on other things, but now working my way back to the project.
Decided to mount my new GDL 39 R since it is going to be imporant for wiring considerations. After considering several areas, decided to install under the right floor console cover above the IBBS.
I had not rivted the IBBS brackets to the floor yet, so it was necessary to locate the IBBS so that it did not conflict with the right tank fuel line, or anything else including the planned location of the GDL 39R. Located, drilled and rivet the brackets for the IBBS in place on the fuse floor.
Located where the ADS-B receiver will sit above the IBBS, clearing the IBBS. Designed off-set brackets made of two L-angle riveted togther . The top plate will contain nut plates for flush screws where in common with the console braces. the botom plate will have nut plates for AN screws to secure and GDL 39R. All will be removable.
