Continued working towards the completion of the backshell assemblies for the GEA 24 Engine Sensors. All of the wires for the J242 connector are 2 or 3 wire shielded with a connector ground shield. All shield grounds are soldered sleeved with a ground wire and ring connector for the backshell attachment.
It is not difficult work, but you do need to be really careful with inserting the pins into the correct location on the connector to avoid needing to use the pin removal tool to extract the pin from the connector. While this is possible, I found it can be a hassle.
