Proceeded with installation of the various engine sensors, these will be connected to the Garmin GEA-25 behind the instrument panel, and display on the G3X touch.
• Identified and installed the four cylinder head temperature probes with anti-cease applied and torqued to 35" lbs. • Identified the four Alcor cylinder head temperature probes. • Identified on each exhaust pipe, a mark 2 inches below the cylinder exhaust port mount. • Each mark accounts for other interesting things that must be avoided (spark plugs, wires, etc.) • Using #40 bit, drilled the first hole in the left rear exhaust pipe as this seem to be the easiest due to no clearance issues. • Final drilled to #30, then used the supplied probe attached clamp to mark where to cut the clamp to shorten to the needed length. • Used the Dremel to cut the clamp to the needed length, deburred the cut with scotch brite wheel. • Attached the EGT probe to the exhaust pipe and tighten as required.
