Reassembled the throttle/mixture/prop governor quadrant to the side and top console, was very interested in seeing how it looked since the powder coat of the console. Looks quite good, certainly within my standards!
In order to attach to the side console, you have to remove the four bolts holding the thing together, as well as remove the friction lock bolt. When these are removed, the quadrant basically wants to fall apart, so it's a trick to attach to the side console without the quadrant totally disassembling itself in your hands.
After attaching the quadrant to the side console, spent some time adjusting the position of the bolt for the friction lock so the operation of the friction lock rotates about 180 degrees, with the open position pointed aft, and the locked position pointed forward.
