Brief Description:  Engine Baffle Install - Exhaust Redo, etc.

To Re-align the exhaust pipes, had to:

• Removed SG Bracket attaching the fuel line from the fuel pump to the Bendix RSA fuel servo from the exhaust support rod on the left side of the engine.
• Removed the engine case vent tube, associated DG clamps.
• Disassembled and removed the exhaust clamps from the exhaust support brackets and rods.
• Disassembled the exhaust support brackets (left, right and center rods).
• Re-positioned the exhaust pipes orienting the bend in the pipe horizontally to move the pip away from the lower cowl.
• Re-positioned the exhaust support rods connecting the engine sump to the exhaust pip clamps on the left and right pipes, re-tightened stainless clamps holding the two ends of the support rods together.
• Due to the exhaust pipes being now, closer together (and farther from the lower cowl), trimmed the horizontal support rods in order to match the new pipe clamp position.
• Re-assembled the support rods and re-installed between the two exhaust pipe clamps.

• Re-trimmed the engine case vent tube for new location,
• Re-installed the engine case vent tube with associated DG clamps (1 on FW, 1 on engine mount.

Since the exhaust support rod from the engine sump to the left exhaust clamp is in a different place, the fuel line from the fuel pump to the Bendix RSA fuel servo is now a problem. I can route on the inboard side of the support rod, this seems to put excess stress and the line wants to run on the support rod. The more natural route is on the outboard side of the support rod, and if the line was 1" shorter, would fit nicely, with lots of clearance for the exhaust pipe. In its current length, it wants to rub right up on the exhaust pipe - which seems a really bad idea.

Going to get/make a proper length line....
