The canopy frame would not close all the way forward, after serious inspection, found the issue to be the canopy block that captures the pin at the rear of the canopy.
Removed some of the block that was preventing the frame from fulling sliding forward, and re-installed, which fixed the issue. This block was surprisingly difficult to cut... I just removed the bottom portion material, leaving the upper portion in tact to receive the canopy frame pin.
