Brief Description: Extending the Baggage Door Aft RIb
Measured and cut a doubler to extend the bottom of the aft rib. Match drilled two #30 holes making sure to miss the location of the locking pin, as this hole will also move. Deburred and dimpled for AN426AD3-4 rivets. Squeezed rivets in place.
Marked the bend line for the 90 degree bend. Using rubber mallet and the corner of a wood bench top, started the bend, carefully tapping to create ~ 45 degree bend. Set the aft rib inside the table edge, and carefully tapped the final bend to ~ 90 degrees.
