Brief Description:  Top Skin Riveting

Keith Owens help with driving the rivet gun, I had the work of bucking rivets, which was fairly easy given the LRU removal. I failed to take pics of the finished work!!

I clecoed the door in place, just to make sure it open/closed with no issues before proceeding with riveting the top skin. We used the 3x rivet gun, set ~ 35 psi.

Most of the rivets were easy to set, a few required some inventiveness.

At the end of the day, all of the rivets in common with the instrument panel flange, and the aft baggage bulkhead are done. Several in common with the side fuse are done, however, none are done where in common with the fuse and inside the gear leg tower, I think there are 5 - 6 per side.

I am not sure how I am going to buck these rivets since all of the wiring traverses the gear leg towers, and the fuel vent line is up there doing a 180 as well. I am considering using blind rivets, though the plans call for AN426.
