Brief Description:  Pitot and AOA and Forward Floor

While recruiting a partner for riveting the baggage door, proceeding with other things needing to be done...

Located where on the fuse the Pitot and AOA lines from the GSA 25 ADAHAR exists the fuse. Using the SafeAir system, which so I have (2) 90 degree connectors and large rubber grommet for penetrating the fuse. Drilled pilot holes, then final drilled holes for the grommets. Cut to length the Pitot and AOA lines and inserted into the 90 degree connectors inside the fuse.

This was the last work-in-progress item before I can fit the fuse floor under the pilot seat. Installed the floor, and quick realized the trailing edge is supposed to be bolted under the forward support for the elevator control. I can't do this, because I have installed the support with AN washer and nuts not nut plates. So, I trimmed this portion of the floor off using the shear, install a 90 degree angle for some support at the trailing edge. This works well and also means I will not have to remove the forward AN bolts on the elevator control support each condition inspection when the forward floor is removed.

Clecoed and final drilled #19 for the AN8 screws required for the forward floor. Drilled #40 holes for each screw for the nut plates using my handy nut plate jig. A couple of these holes the jig would not work, so I use actual nut plate to locate and drill for these.

The #40 hole require countersinking for the nut plates…
