Brief Description:  Rudder Cable Clamps to Fuse, Drill Weldment Holes

Between the end of 2012, and 2013, moved the entire project from the Garage to the Hanger at CSG. Hanger has 220 power, large compressor, and a fridge! Because of the move, removed the emp from the fuse to get the fuse to fit nicely in the rental uhaul truck. I had a loaner trailer available, which was 14x5, but the gear legs are about 5'7", and the distance from the gear legs to the end of the fuse, minus the emp, is 14' I did try to sort out the largest isoceles triangle that can fit in to a rectangle, thinking that certainly there must be some equation somewhere, but, found none!

and, a 17' uhaul truck is not 17' floor lengh, it is advertised as 14'6", but it's really 14' 2". Got the fuse moved to the airport successfully... but managed to not take any pictures !

After organizing the hanger space a bit, the fist thing I did was to add the clamps to the rudder pedal cables where they exit the fuse. These were impossible to install with the emp and elevator torque tube in place, but easy once removed.

Then, climbed inside the fuse, drill and light in hand, and drilled out the 7 holes in the side skin, firewall weldment through the intersection of the top skin and side skin. Used a 12" bit cut down to 7" to reduce bit wobble, and carefully drilled. Result was good.
