Brief Description:  Instrument Panel Assembly

Received a new F803C-1 Instrument Panel Flange today. The new one has pre-drilled holes in the top of the flange which match to the top skin fuse, and predrilled holes on the flange clips for the lower left and right side, which match to the side fuse skins.

Marked and separated the left and right Flange Clips from the ends of the F803C-1 Instrument Panel Flange, smoothed edges with scotch brite wheel, rounded sharp corners.
Celcoed the right and left Flage Clips and Instrument Panel Flage on to the left and right instrument subpanels.
Final drilled #40 the lower left and right flange clips, debured and dimpled to match the holes in the side skins left and right.
With the flange attached to the sub panels, final drilled all #40 holes, deburred.
Final drilled the #40 holes for the nut plate attachments on the sub panels.
Countersinked all #40 holes for the nut plate attachments, aft side flush.
Countersinked all #40 holes for the flange attachment on the aft side flush.

Next it to locate the fresh air vent that is fed from the NACA duct on the left side of the fuse just below the forward baggage compartment. I would like to split into two smaller lines, on for the left side, the other for the right side, and route through the gear tower legs. Not sure creating new holes in the tower gear legs for the fresh air hose is a giood idea, will check with Vans. I think the idea location for the fresh air vents is the lower gear leg tower aft facing, just above the console panels on the left and right. We shall see.
