Brief Description: Canopy and Canopy Skirt Fitting
Re-fitted the canopy which was removed (ACQQ drilled out) earlier, re-riveting in place using the holes previously drilled. These will again be drilled out later. I was initally concerned there might be trouble since I have reshaped the canopy frame, but, no trouble aligning the previously drilled holes in the canopy to the fuse.
Next step is to drill #40 the holes for the canopy skirt into the lower tube of the canopy frame. Normally a match drill is desireable, but since the tube is not flat, match drilling through the canopy skirt into the canopy frame tubes is very difficult to prevent from not centering the hole in the tube.
Applied tape to the lower tubes, to enable marking a center line in the frame tubes, marked off locations for drilling approximately every 2" as per spec.
Cleco the canopy into place usingt ACQQ rivets - these will be drilled out later
