Worked on alignment the aft wheel pant fairing from front to back, and level with the aircraft. The top of the aft pant at the rear is 9" from the floor on the right side, so marking sure the left side is reasonably the same. For front to back alignment, simply stood off the aircraft and inspected the center line of the pant to make sure it aligned with the center tread on the tire, as well as an imaginary line running toward the HS.
After drilling the #30 match holes in the U-808 bracket, removed the fairing and added several layers of 9 oz. cloth and epoxy to the inside of the pant in the area in common with the U-808 bracket because the pant has a variable thickness in this location, it needs to be built up to handle the bracket.
