After letting the fiberglass epoxy cure, started sanding the windscreen fairing removing the highest points. It is apparent the Mylar packaging wrap interfered with the glass cloth getting a nice smooth finish on the canopy side, so some sanding there is also needed.
More cloth will be added to the top of the fairing to build up the material for strength.
