Cut cardboard spacers of 1" length in order to approximate the location of the electrical tape which is placed on the windscreen and top skin, marking the area where the fiberglass fairing will be built up, sanded, sanded and sanded some more. One inch seems sufficient on the windscreen, and another one inch on the skin, to the total fibreglass layup will reach ~ 2" width.
