Finally approaching what I think is near the end of the fitting activities for the top and bottom cowl. If I hold the bottom cowl edge in place (it wants to bow out), the bottom and top align and the leading edges align pretty well.
The bottom cowl bowing out is a concern. If I rivet the Skybolt tabs to the bottom flange, it is going to be more difficult to install the top cowl when the bottom cowl is in place. Normally, I would think removing and replacing the top cowl with the bottom cowl in place would be typical. But, if the bottom cowl wants to bow outward at the split line, putting on the top cowl seems like it will be challenging since the tabs must go on the inside of the top cowl!
