Brief Description: Flap Actuator Safety and Installation
Safe tied the flap actuator as described by Van’s. This was done by drilling a 1/16” hole in the top and the side of the actuator rod casing, two holes that intersect. Safety wire passed through the hole and twisted until it meets the AN4 bolt head where the wire passes through the bolt, then is twisted on the exist side of the bolt.
