Made templates for mid cabin panels to protect the wiring that is exposed in this section. I might make storage access later, for now these panels will be attached using AN8 screws to nut plates riveted to the structure.
From the templates cut sheet aluminum, and fitted, filed, etc. to make a nice fitting panel for the left and right side of the fuse mid cabin. Located and marked for the AN8 screw holes. I first marked the structure and drilled #40, #30 etc. then match drilled the panels using a hole duplicator. Then used the nutplate jig to finish drilling for each attach location on the structure. Countersunk the rivet holes in the structure and deburred everything else. Riveted the nutplate(s) on the structure.
I plan on getting these panels powder coated as the other panels so they will stand up to the inevitable abuse they will receive from back seat folks getting in and out of the plane.
