A pair of doubler plates attached to the aft side of the forward HS spar. This is to address potential cracking of the forward spar at the bend line. The doubler plates come as a pre-bent piece, which you separate into individual plates, smooth and then ready for match drilling. Located the doubler plates on the aft side of the forward HS spar and measured the distance between to ensure the forward spar attach plate of the VS will clear the HS doublers when installed.
Made some fine adjustments to the location of doubler plates and clamped into place for match drilling to the forward spar, and the forward reinforcement angles on the forward side of the HS spar.
