Brief Description: Wheel Pant Intersection Fairing part 4
Sanded the wheel pant intersection fairings in place on the gear leg to smooth the transition between the forward and aft fairing. Used 120 grit to start and progressed to higher to get a smooth surface. The two halves of the wheel pant / intersection fairing separated easily because of the wax surfaces, and thankfully the gap filler remained attached to the aft intersection fairing, and not the gear leg fairing or the forward intersection fairing.
The plan is to sand the entire structure smooth and fill remaining low spots, then cover with a coat of West 105/205 mixed with Acetone at 50/50, let set up then final sand smooth.
