Brief Description: Cowling - Lower Cowl Fill and Sand
Wet Sanded the lower cowl with 800 grit to see just how much more work is needed to get a nice smooth, pin hole free surface. Found some areas that need more fill work, so used a bit more of the 3M Glaze/Putty on these areas.
The FAB ram air intake needs quite a bit of fill and sand to get it smooth. Mixed up a batch of microballoons and epoxy, about the consistency of tooth paste. Used this to fill the low areas for about 1/2 of the opening. I'll need to let it set up overnight, sand and see where I am at. .
