Brief Description: Intersection Fairings - Attachment Work
After separating the wheel pants and intersection fairings, cleaned up the parts a bit, and re-attached with #40 clecoes. Located additional attachment locations on the top and bottom of the intersection fairings, roughly 3" apart, in a semicircular fashion to secure the fairing to the wheel pant.
Matched drilled #40, then #30, them 9/64" for the AN 6 screws, attaching to platenuts to be riveted to the interior of the wheel pant.
Sanded the interior of the wheel pant, cleaned and wetted with West epoxy, and applied a few layers of cloth to build up the interior of the pant where the platenuts will be riveted.
