Brief Description: Wheel Pant and Gear Leg Intersection Lay-Up Mold
Time to start on the Intersection fairing for the gear leg and wheel pant. Placed a grid pattern on the wheel pant to help with creating a mold on the left and right pants that look the same. Re-installed the right wheel pant fairing. I used painters tape to cover the gap between the pant and the gear leg fairing.
At this point, it was time to glob on some joint compound. I decided to use drywall joint compound instead of clay, it dries nicely and is easy to sand. It will take ~ 24 hours to dry sufficient to sand, and I am thinking this will be an iterative process to get the shape I want on both sides.
