After trimming the tire opening for the forward wheel pant, installed on the airframe with the aft pant to locate and match drill the holes in common with the U807 wheel pant bracket which is on the inboard side. These are final drilled to #20 for AN8 screws for the platenuts attached to the bracket.
Removed everything, opened up the aft end of the tire opening as it was ~ 1/4" - sufficient for fitting, not for use. Removed the U808 bracket from the axel nut, prepped and primed. Countersunk the #30 holes for the U808 bracket in the wheel pant, then rivet the U88 bracket to the wheel pant. Countersunk the #20 holes for the inboard #8 screws (two on the forward pant, two on the aft pant).
Assembled the aft and forward wheel pant on the right side of the airframe.
