Brief Description: Final Drill Rear Spar Fastener Holes
After much planning and measuring, it's time to final drill the rear spars for the fastener. Purchased several long drill bits, about 9" long, from Lowes Aviation Department, started small and progressively enlarged until 1/4" was drilled. For the final size, I used a 5/16" reamer bit (from Cleveland Tools) which made it quick and easy work.
Temporarily added the AN bolts, washers and castle nuts to hold the wings in place while I complete the remaining tasks before removing the wings to deburr.
