After seeing somewhat horrific pics on VAF from aircraft inspections, and commentary ... I had decided several weeks back to get some feedback on my project from an expert source. I contacted Vern Darley in Peachtree City, GA and he agreed to visit Columbus, (a short fight).
Vern came down Saturday the 4th, it was a cold and breezy morning, winds 090-10G15. After a hot cup of coffee, Vern took a look over my project and gave me a list of to dos. Nothing serious fortunately, and it was certainly nice to have Vern go over the project. I've sort of been working on this without local airport expertise, so to speak.
Proceeded with starting to align the wings to the fuse.
