After removing the control tube and forward stick, inserted the 12 AN4-11A bolts into their respective holes. Getting the washer and nut on the inboard bolts going through the pass-through where the control tube was vacated was easy to do by feel. These I could torque to ~ 65 in/lb. because there is sufficient clearance for my torque tool.
The outboard bolts required using my custom tool to get the bolt/washer combo on to the bolt, where I snug then with some good old fashion muscle memory. I performed a visual check in the thread exposure of these bolts compared to the inboard where I could use the torque tool.
