Brief Description: More Sanding of the Canopy Overlay Fairing
More sanding of the canopy overlay, and first opening ... I had to use a wedge to free the fiberglass from the electrical tape, fortunately the fiberglass fairing is a bit flexible and I could insert the wedge between the fiberglass and canopy, carefully working all the way around the fiberglass fairing, including sections that overlay the canopy skirts.
I intentionally made the fairing long so that I would be able to cut off the excess and have a nice thickness of fiberglass to work with to finish the fairing as it overlays the canopy.
