Brief Description:  Canopy and Windscreen Fairing Intersection

My idea is to have the canopy skirts dovetail under a fiberglass fairing, the faring is in common with the windscreen fairing that overlays the plexiglass canopy, and continues past the from windscreen on the left and right sides, covering the gap between the top skin and the canopy skirts where they are virtually in common.

I applied electrical tape to all surfaces where I did not want the epoxy to stick. I filled the small gaps between the fiberglass canopy skirt and the top skin with modelers clay. Next, I applied carnauba wax to the electrical tape and the modelers clay, basically, all surfaces where I did not want the epoxy to stick.

I cut various lengths and widths of fiberglass cloth to cover the intersection of the canopy to windscreen and top skin to canopy skit. I applied each layer, initially wetting the area with epoxy, and applying the cloth, the wetting the applied cloth, and applying the next layer> I think this ended up being a total of 4 layers of glass cloth where it overlays on to the canopy, with seven or eight layers total where it overlays the windscreen.
