Brief Description:  Windscreen Fairing Epoxy Work

Got a new can of the West epoxy hardener, and the AN screws needed for the canopy handle. The original can was deformed just enough to not allow the pump to prime. Used the same pump on the new can, no problems.

Mixed two pumps of epoxy with two pumps of the hardener, mixed thoroughly, then added some glass beads, and some tint. after mixing, added another 1/2 portion of glass beads to get the consistency I needed to prevent it from running when applied.

Applied the epoxy, glass beads and tint mix to the gap between the windscreen and top skin, the epoxy heavy on the glass beads so the consistency was that of toothpaste. I'll let it set 24 hours, inspect and detail as needed.

Completed tapping the canopy handle and test fitted on the canopy. The only thing a bit off is using a AN509 8R14 screw, and countersinking against a rounded surface to get it to set relatively flush, part of the countersink is a bit overdone.
