All instruments removed for the windscreen work to come. Here's where the rubber meets the road relative to fitting the windscreen and laying up the fiberglass windscreen fairing. Rolling the canopy forward to the roll bar and windscreen, it is apparent there will need to be some method of adjusting the fitting the windscreen to match the canopy, which cannot really be easily adjusted, as it is riveted to the forward roll bar of the canopy.
Why I did not realize this before now... My nicely fitted windscreen is now going to be slightly less nicely fitted. Where the windscreen meets the top skin there needs to be a spacer and as the windscreen makes its way around the roll bar, spacers of lesser size.
I am planning on using nylon washers for the 6-32 screws which are used to fasten the windscreen to the roll bar.
