Brief Description: Riveted Forward Canopy Roll Bar
Riveted the Canopy to the Forward Roll Bar. Each hole had been previously located, and final drilled to #30, but not countersunk. Interesting to countersink plexiglass on a curve. I removed the stop and carefully countersunk each hole in the plexiglass for the blind rivet.
Rivets the canopy to the forward roll bar, I very carefully used the mini air grinder to finish off the rivet to something as smooth as possible. The most forward portion of the canopy will be painted black, and when the canopy is closed, not seen as it will tuck under the soon to be constructed fiberglass windshield fairing to be laid.
