Brief Description:  New Prop Gov Oil Line with Attach Bracket

Routed and Installed the new Prop gov Oil Line. Replaced the 45 degree NPT fitting on the Prop Gov with a straight fitting, the 45 just directed the oil line to the engine mount. I had to 'tweak' the 90-degree elbow fitting at the front of the engine just a hare in order to get the line to pass cleanly through the front ramp of the engine baffle. Used a small amount of fuel lube on the fitting to secure the oil prop line, then routed the line under the cylinders to the prop governor at the rear of the engine. The line is 32" and fits nicely around the engine mount, makes no contact.

I needed to fabricate a bracket to secure the oil line around the mid-point of the engine to one of the oil sump engine bolts. For some reason I have a variety of horizontal and vertical stab brackets, and found that one of these, cut down, makes an excellent bracket. These are steel and powder coated. I cut one down leaving a small amount for strength, and enlarged the existing hole for an AN 3 bolt to 1/4" for the engine bolt. Located where on the bracket to drill another AN3 hole size for attaching a WDG clamp to secure the oil line.

Removed the engine sump bolt, attached the bracket leaving the existing washer under the bracket, and the lock washer on top, and torqued to 96 " lbs.

Attached the prop gov oil line via the WDG clamp to the bracket.
