Spent quite some time locating the heater control to avoid interferences with existing fuel vent, brake line, wiring and pitot/static lines all inside the left gear leg tower. I decided to place the control above the FAB control, these will be labeled so I don't pull the FAB control when I am wanting cabin heat, etc.
The control cable passes through the left gear leg tower forward to the firewall. In order to have the control cable approach the bypass lever form the right, require because pulling the control should close the bypass (opens the cabin heat). I fabricated two angle brackets with nut plates for AN3 screws to attach WDG clamps to hold the control cable, and reverse the routing back to the cabin heat bypass lever.
