Started working on the front engine baffles, two main pieces that fit behind the ring gear and service to close up the open space from the top of the cowl to both the left and side front ramps. Both the left and right side front baffles were pre bent, but way too much. I removed a significant portion of the bend angle using the brake to reverse what had been put in place. This was trial and error, making small corrections and re-fitting.
Once the bend angles were corrected, next step was to make the brackets which are used to rivet the front left and right baffles to the left and right ramps. Because of the ring gear in place, I borrowed a 90-degree angle drill from Debbie, which really made locating and drilling the needed #30 holes easier.
