Brief Description:  Trimming the FAB for cowl fitting

Trimmed the FAB top plate in line with the FAB box. Reassembled the box, filter and top plate and bolted to mount plate. Van’s say's to use two washers between the fuel servo/carb and the mount plate to simulate the inevitable engine sag.

Test fitted the bottom cowl with the FAB attached. It is not perfectly aligned to the induction scoop, but it is certainly workable.

Removed FAB from fuel servo. Located at 1" spacing for the AN3 rivets in common with top plate and FAB box. Matched drilled for the AN3 rivets, but did not drill where the top plate bends upward because I need to recheck alignment now that the washers have been temporarily installed between the fuel servo and mount plate.
