Trimmed the bottom cowl as marked by the split line on the left and ride sides. Proceeded with trimming the bottom cowl at the firewall trim line.
The split trim line at the front of the cowl was a bit of a guess since the air inlets made it difficult to keep the split line in check. Ended up using a sanding block to make sure the split line of the bottom cowl is even near the air inlet, or at least, it looks even with the split line that marks the bottom cowl to the firewall.
Made the first cut on the top cowl for the firewall flange, and put in place to check clearance.
