Time to work on the ShowPlanes Flap Position System since it is time to finish the wiring.
• Fitted the FPS to the flap motor assembly per instructions for a RV8. • Marked the left rear console panel to enlarge the hole where the flap motor actuator rod passes through to the attach bracket. • Enlarged the pass through opening using snips and completed with a file to smooth the edges. • Tested the flap motor actuator to ensure it passes through the enlarged opening.
