Brief Description: GSA 28 Roll Servo Assy and Install
Assembled and installed the Garmin GSA 28 Roll Servo in the right wing per Garmin instructions.
• Step (1) was to unpack the servo and test assemble using the provided hardware. Garmin provided a replacement aileron bell crank bracket, and a control stop to ensure the servo is not driven past its limit for any reason. • Step (2) was to remove the existing aileron bell crank bracket in the right wing. This was easy since the bracket is bolted to the wing spar. • Step (3) was to install the new GSA 28 servo assembly into the right wing. The new aileron bell crank bracket bolts right in place, with a support bracket on the reverse side.
Fairly quick and easy install. I will run the shielded wire from the G3X to the servo after wing attachment.
