Brief Description:  Elevator Neutral Position Adjustment

Performed what might be the final adjustment for the neutral position for the elevator bell crank and elevator setting. The plans call for 72 5/32 inches center to center for the rod end bearings. The rod end bearing at the forward bell crank was run in nearly 100%, the rear had 6 threads showing.

Adjusted the forward so 6 threads showed and check for neutral position - not even close. So, check the plans and found the call out mentioned above. Removed the push/pull tube from the airframe, and measure the c-t-c distance between the rod end bearings, and adjusted accordingly.

Re-Installed in the airframe and checked for neutral position, dead on the money.

Last pic is just the big picture - seems like I have a LOT going on between wiring, panel changes, etc.

My big picture plan is to get the panel cut, install the avionics, etc., continue with the wiring, install the roll servo in the wing. Then, set and rivet the top skin, then I can fit the cowl, fit the windscreen, fiberglass the fairing and canopy skirt... attached the wings. Propeller and Interior.

This year??? We will see.
