Brief Description: Aileron Hinge Reinforcement Foam Wedges
I started cutting out the foam wedges that will reinforce the wing trailing edges at the aileron and flap hinge locations. I am making them per the GII book with means two inches wider with the ends clipped off at a 45 degree angle. This shape is easier to layup over. The G1 book shows just plain wedges and no laminate over the ends. I cut the basic triagle shape out with the tablesaw. I used just short of a 42 degree angle to get the required 1 x 1 1/8 inch triangle. There are eight of these blocks to make.
