Brief Description: Wing Tip Upper Flanges - Shop Clean Up
I removed the forms for the upper flanges and trimmed the upper flanges to match the lower flanges. The will ultimately get trimmed a little shorter as I fit the tips. I then rolled the wing outside so that I could sweep up the mess. When doing all the layups a lot of trash ends up on the floor, gloves, tape, foil, etc. The flanges came out well and blend nicely on the leading edges. I was a little worried about how the join between the upper and lower flanges would work out at the leading edge but it just kind of happens.
