Brief Description: Wing Tip Lower Flange Clean Up - Upper Rear Spar T
Took it easy today. Had some house chores to contend with and I actually went out flying the Eagle today. Been too long. I removed the lower tip flange sheet metal/rubber strip forms. They released easily. I am glad I did not rivet them on as per the instructions. Then I would have a bunch of holes in the wing skin and the tails stuck in the flanges forever. I then trimmed the flanges to 1 inch wide. They will be even narrower in the end. I also sanded the upper wing skin spar layups flush with the original wing skn edge. I will still need to do the final touch with my really long sanding board before I'm done. Tomorrow I will start on the upper skin build up for the upper flanges.
