I had done an initial pressure check of the wing a few days ago just blowing into on of the vent nipples with the standpipe ring taped over. There was a leak at the left hand tip nose rib. I suspected that there was a problem as we closed the wing. Not enough mill fiber mix at the wing split line. Anyway today I started hooking up my wing pressure test rig. I mixed up some resin to seal the tip rib and put it in a syringe. I then created a slight vacuum in the tank using the test rig and my lungs. I then injected the leaky area with the resin. The resin plugged the leak very quickly and I then released the vacuum and let the resin cure. I then decided to add generous cabosil fillet around the LE of both wing tip nose ribs. I will add two ply laminates over the entire LE area of both tips.
